Development directions and goals

The Company’s strategic objective is to ensure the goodwill of the Capital Group by further dynamic growth in turnover and increase of profit margins. In 2008-2012, ERBUD intends to continue its expansion operations related to strengthening the competitive position in its core business segments, such as cubature building, road construction and engineering as well as housing development. Through focusing on the development of these four areas, the ERBUD Group will get risk diversification in the event of bad economic time in any of the areas.

In May 2007, ERBUD debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Following the PIO, the company raised PLN 120 m., of which 100 m. was earmarked for acquisitions, and 20 m. for the organic growth.

Company’s development priorities for the coming years due to strategic directions presented involve primarily:

  • Implementation of multi-family housing projects with ensured funding and the possibility to generate a satisfactory profit margin for customers in respect of with there is a prospect of long-term cooperation.
  • Strengthening its position in the segment of public utilities construction home and oversees. End 2007, this segment constituted 45% of the Group’s turnover. Given the growing potential of profits in this building area, the Management Board plans to increase the number of projects in the public sector.
  • Increased participation of civil engineering projects in the global turnover of the Group – the expansion in the country using knowledge and technology gained on markets abroad.
  • Dynamic expansion of road construction on the basis of companies acquired. Focusing on regional and local projects: ring roads, both local and national roads.
  • Extension of development operations for the sale of commercial and industrial constructions (production and logistic facilities, offices). The development activity within the Group is carried out by Budlex, a subsidiary specializing in residential projects.
    Having regard to the growing potential of other areas of development activities, the Group’s Management Board decided to extend the scope of development projects to the commercial and industrial segment.
