During the past five years, the ERBUD Group has completed 18 projects for healthcare sector with a total value of about PLN 400 million. At the end of the first quarter of 2014, hospitals represented 11% of the Group's portfolio of orders.
One of the most prestigious projects carried out in the recent years was, among others, Invasive Medicine Centre at the Medical University of Gdańsk. It is one of the most modern hospitals in Europe. It has six floors with a volume of over 263,000 m3 and 12 wards located here. There is an underground car park and own helicopter landing pad on the building roof. This huge construction project worth more than PLN 170 million was completed by ERBUD between 2009 and 2011 in less than three years.
For over 24 years in the business, the Group has executed more than 35 projects from this sector. This is nearly 1 million cubic meters totally valued at around PLN 750 million.
Some of the projects currently performed by ERBUD in the country are:
- Construction of the Multidisciplinary Hospital in Katowice with a value of PLN 81.6m and cubic volume of over 100,000 m3. The contract specifies to erect hospital buildings with 15 wards, forming part of a modern medical care complex. Works will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2015.
- Extension of the Clinical Centre of Wrocław Medical University worth PLN 51.5m. Within the scope of responsibility of ERBUD is the construction of the Children’s Clinic of Bone Marrow Transplant, Oncology and Haematology, including site development. A building with an area of almost 13,000 sq. m will be ready for the patients in the second quarter of 2015.
- Construction of the Psychiatric Centre at the Św. Łukasz Regional Hospital in Tarnów. The Design and Build Contract with completion scheduled for the third quarter of 2016 is valued at PLN 17.5m.
