Approximately PLN 20 million gross will be awarded to an ERBUD Group company for the comprehensive thermal modernisation of Student Dormitory No. 4 of the Lublin University of Technology according to the “Design and Build” formula.
The company ERBUD International is a specialist in the general contracting of thermo-modernisation and refurbishment projects, notably of premises with considerable technological complexity. This just signed contract with the Lublin University of Technology constitutes the fourth order from the Investor. It will involve ERBUD International designing and constructing, among other things, fire protection installations, redesigning the room layout and conducting thermal modernisation works that will generate significant savings and reduce the carbon footprint.
- Over the last few years, we have completed more than a dozen such contracts in a variety of public buildings. Indeed, the refurbishment and thermo-modernisation sector is growing rapidly, but there is still a large number of buildings in the public sector in Poland that are not compliant with current standards. Such projects are extensively funded by the EU, as well as by local authorities. After all, this is not just a matter of improving the aesthetics and functionality of these facilities, but also an ecological measure. After our modernisation, the buildings significantly reduce energy demand, which contributes to reducing CO2 emissions, explains Mirosław Młynarski, CEO of ERBUD International.
ERBUD International's portfolio includes the modernisation of the building of the Rector's Office of the Warsaw Medical University in Warsaw, the Mother and Child Institute in Warsaw, the Ludwik Rydygier Specialist Hospital in Kraków, the County Hospital in Tomaszów Lubelski, as well as the National Institute of Oncology in Warsaw and in Gliwice.
