ERBUD S.A. will erect a building for the Centre for Non-Invasive Medicine in Gdańsk

ERBUD S.A. signed a contract with the Medical University of Gdańsk to construct as general contractor a building being part of the new established Centre for Non-Invasive Medicine. The contract value is PLN 152.5 million net.

In the building “A”, which will be erected by ERBUD, there will be a total of 11 units of the Medical University of Gdańsk, including Clinical Center of Cardiology, Intensive Care Unit or Clinic of Neurology. The gross floor area will be close to 32 thousand sq. m.

Under the contract, ERBUD S.A. will also build a link building to the Invasive Medicine Centre (our company was the general contractor for this Centre), including technical infrastructure, mains and services, land development and demolition works.

The completion of works is planned within 25 months from the date of handing over the construction site. Pursuant to the provisions of the contract, the handing over of the site should take place no later than in the fourth quarter of 2018.

This is yet another project performed by the ERBUD Group for the Medical University of Gdańsk. In May 2009, the consortium formed by ERBUD S. A. and Wolff & Müller concluded a contract for the construction of Invasive Medicine Centre as general contractor. The facility was completed according to the schedule in October 2011, and its total cost amounted to PLN 201.4 million net.

The construction of the Invasive Medicine Centre and the Non-Invasive Medicine Centre is one of the largest projects in the area of Trójmiasto. The funds for the construction of both Centres come primarily from the state budget.

ERBUD S.A. specializes in the building, alteration and refurbishment of hospitals and medical facilities. In June 2017, the cornerstone was laid for the Southern Hospital in Warsaw, which is currently the largest project of this type carried out by the company. Among other contracts signed with the medical sector in 2017, it is worthwhile to mention hospitals in Jarosław, Dębica and Ludwik Rydygier Specialist Hospital in Kraków.

In the past, ERBUD built or rebuilt, inter alia, Stanisław Leszczyński Hospital in Katowice, Przylądek Nadziei” Hospital in Wrocław or the Gliwice Oncology Clinic.
