Dr. Antoni Jurasz University Hospital No. 1 in Bydgoszcz has commissioned a consortium headed by ERBUD to construct a Children's Treatment Center, which will centralize the existing pediatric clinics of various specializations. The gross value of the contract is PLN 198.6 million.
The contract includes the construction of a new hospital building, which will house specialist clinics for children, including an emergency room, registration, diagnostics, a pediatric outpatient clinic of the Emergency Medicine Clinic, an operating block, treatment rooms, auxiliary facilities (technical support), utility rooms, administrative, technical, warehouse, social and catering areas, as well as teaching facilities related to the training of medical staff. The investment also includes the reconstruction of existing access roads, the construction of new ones, including fire roads, pavements, parking spaces, technical infrastructure and the development of green areas. The contract will be carried out in the “design-build-equip” formula. Its completion is planned for the end of 2027, and the contract will be carried out by the Toruń department of ERBUD in a consortium with the Bydgoszcz-based company Ebud.
– This is an extremely important contract for us, not only because of the complexity of the construction and the value of the contract, but also because hospitals have always held a special place in the Group's portfolio. These are socially important projects, which are the business's contribution to the well-being and improvement of the quality of life of citizens. In the case of this project, the motivation is twofold, because the facility will serve children and is located in Bydgoszcz, the province from which ERBUD originates, comments Dariusz Grzeszczak, President of ERBUD.
The construction and modernization of hospitals are an important point on the list of references in the ERBUD Group's cubature area.
