ERBUD to build the Innovative Centre for Nutritional Sciences for the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW)

ERBUD will receive the gross sum of 115.4 million for construction of an educational facility for the Faculty of Human Nutrition and Consumption Sciences at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences(SGGW). The Company is given 18 months to deliver the building.

Under the contract awarded, the Company will build a laboratory and educational facility with technical infrastructure, associated buildings, connections, traffic routes and landscaping. The usable area of the finished building will be approximately 16,500 square metres, comprising four above-ground storeys and one underground floor. It will inculde laboratories, classrooms, exhibition and conference areas as well as staff and technical facilities.

Under the contract, construction is expected to take one and a half years. The cost of the works is approximately PLN 115 million gross.

- We consider this order extremely valuable because, as a socially responsible company, our aim is to implement projects that are of significance to citizens, including participation in the development of Polish science. The concept of the Centre is truly ambitious, innovative and, above all, functional. Our extensive experience in the construction of this type of facility will certainly come in handy - he adds.

To date, ERBUD has completed dozens of teaching facilities. These include the Research, Implementation and Didactic Centre for Innovative Technologies in Horticulture in Lublin, the BRAIN Laboratory and Research Building for the Medical University of Łódź in Łódź, as well as a concert hall for the Academy of Music in Łódź. ERBUD is currently modernising the rectorate of the Warsaw Medical University and is in the process of completing the construction of the Centre for Innovative Space at the Warsaw School of Economics.
