ERBUD will build a school in Warsaw's Białołęka District

ERBUD S. A. will build by July 2020 a primary school in the area of Ruskowy Bród and Verdiego Streets.

ERBUD S.A.  has been successfully constructing  public utility buildings throughout Poland for years. We are glad that once again we will cooperate with the Capital City of Warsaw, this time on the occasion of carrying out a project of such an importance for the residents of Białołęka, says Józef Zubelewicz, Member of the Management Board of ERBUD S.A.

This is the most expensive construction investment that the local government of Białołęka will complete in its history. At the same time, it is a long-awaited project and much needed, says Dariusz Kacprzak, Deputy Mayor of the Białołęka District, responsible for investments.

The school is to be intended for almost a thousand pupils. It is planned to establish 37 units: 13 for classes I to IV, 9 for classes V to VI and 15 for classes VII to VII. The complex will consist of several interconnected one- and three-storey buildings divided into parts for classes I-VI and VII-VIII and a sports hall. Apart from classrooms (1st floor for classes I-IV and 2nd floor for classes V-VI), the section for younger children (class I-VI) will include kitchen facilities, library, corrective gymnastics room, changing rooms, administration offices and special purpose rooms dedicated for this section. In the section for older children there will be teaching rooms, changing rooms, library and in addition dining room, small shop and internal radio station. On the first floor there will be, among others, special purpose rooms as computer and biological-geographic ones, and on the second floor computer room and language, technical, artistic and physical-chemical laboratories.

A gymnasium measuring 24x44 m with auditorium, storerooms for sports equipment and changing rooms, as well as dining and kitchen unit will be built between the buildings. Sports fields and a playground for the youngest children are to be constructing in the immediate vicinity of the junior classrooms.

What is interesting is that there will be a footbridge over the Ruskowy Bród Street, which will allow one to get to sports fields (football, handball and universal - for basketball, volleyball and tennis) located on the other side of the street. After school and on weekends, they will be available to residents.

An internal road leading to the building will be providing access to the school and 148 parking spaces, including six for disabled people.

A kiss & ride zone where parents taking their children to school will be able to stop for a while was also planned.

The primary school building will be adapted for people with disabilities. Renewable energy sources, i.e. air-to-water heat pumps will also be used here.

The deadline for completion of works is planned for July 2020.
