ERBUD will execute construction works for selected provincial health care centres from the public sector in Kraków and Tarnów

On 28 February this year, Erbud signed a contract for “Improving the energy efficiency through the supply of renewable energy systems and the modernization of heating installations in selected provincial health care facilities from the public sector.” The construction contract worth PLN 34.95 million net is performed within the framework of Swiss-Polish Cooperation Programme.

Works will be completed within 20 months from the date of conclusion of the contract. Awarding entities are: 

 • Rydygier Specialist Hospital in Kraków 

 • John Paul II Cracow Specialist Hospital in Kraków 

 • St. Luke's Regional Hospital in Tarnów. 

 

Under the contract, Erbud will complete comprehensive civil engineering works, including delivery, installation and commissioning of plant, equipment and devices in three hospital buildings, namely in: 

 • Rydygier Specialist Hospital in Kraków 

 • John Paul II Cracow Specialist Hospital in Kraków 

 • St. Luke's Regional Hospital in Tarnów. 

 

The scope of the contract includes but is not limited to the installation of Energy and Utilities Management System, modernization of electrical system, incl. transformers, alteration and upgrading of the Control and Measurement Instruments and Automation, Building Management System, renewal of ventilation systems, construction of condensing boiler house. 

 

This is another hospital sector project completed by Erbud S.A. in the country, including , inter alia, Invasive Medicine Center of the Medical University of Gdansk; extension of the John Paul II Cracow Specialist Hospital in Kraków, as well as 

works carried out currently by Rzeszów Branch Office: extension and reconstruction of an existing building of the 

Regional Centre for Rehabilitation and Education of Children and Youth at the Provincial Hospital No. 2 in Rzeszów and 

next stage of extension of the PCK Hospital in Nisko; design and build of the Operating Ward (10 rooms), incl. 

Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Unit and Central Sterilization Unit in Krosno; design and build of a 4-room operating 

theatre for the District Railway Hospital in Lublin. The aggregate value of projects for this sector amounts to PLN 400 million.
