ERBUD will modernise the entrance to the inner port in Gdańsk

ERBUD has concluded a contract for the reconstruction of the Szyprów Quay in Gdańsk. This is the second contract obtained by the newly established hydrotechnical construction division. The contract value is PLN 28.5 million net.

The scope of work includes the construction and fitting of a new 380 m long quay. The quay reconstruction is part of the project "Modernisation of the entrance to the inner port (in Gdańsk). Stage IIIA". The works are planned to take 16 months.

This is the second contract obtained by the Gdańsk branch of ERBUD. Last year, it concluded a contract for the expansion of the marina in Błotnik in the Pomeranian Province.
“Signing the contract for the expansion of the Szyprów Quay confirms our unique competences. We can use the extensive know-how of the ERBUD Group from other areas of construction to implement the most complex hydrotechnical projects“, emphasises Przemysław Preiss, director of the hydrotechnical construction division of Erbud S.A.

The hydrotechnical construction market is one of the strategic expansion directions of the ERBUD Group. The value of planned public investments in this area, to be completed by 2028, is estimated at up to PLN 45 billion. This includes projects of strategic importance for the country, addressing challenges related to e.g. climate change.
