Charity and social activity

As the ERBUD Group, we participated in:

• social campaign "2 Hours for the Family",
• 3rd Sports Olympiad of the Infrastructure and Construction Industry,
• organized by the Polish Association of Construction Employers; we were the main sponsor of the event. We sponsored:
• Construction Knowledge and Skills Olympiad – ERBUD S.A.
• we were one of the sponsors of the next edition of the Dinner with the Stars campaign - ERBUD S.A.
• we were one of the sponsors of the Everyone to the Oars 2019 campaign of the Legia Foundation - ERBUD S.A.
• we sponsored the Opera and Operetta Gala organized by AHK – ERBUD S.A.
• we sponsored 21 Days of Art Dębica 2019 – ERBUD Operations Sp. z o. o.
• World Heart Day Rzeszów 2019 and the 25th New Year's Eve Run Nałęczów - Sao Paulo and Nordic Walking 31/12/2019 - 01/01/2020. – ERBUD Operations Sp. z o. o.
• similarly to previous years, we joined the group of sponsors of the Concert of Hope in Wrocław - Wrocław branch of ERBUD S.A. and ERBUD Operations Sp. z o. o.

In addition:

• ERBUD S.A. became a member of the Council of Advisors to the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology,
• we have prepared presentations and lectures by ERBUD specialists at construction faculties,
• we conducted marketing classes at the Faculty of Construction of the Krakow University of Technology,
• we cooperated with construction techniques in Warsaw, Łódź, Wrocław, Rzeszów, Grudziądz and Bydgoszcz,
• we supplemented thematic showcases, posters, rollups, information leaflets on construction techniques,
• we organized educational trips for pupils and students to construction sites,
• we organized students' participation in the Safety Week,
• we posted information on schools' websites about cooperation and development opportunities in the ERBUD Group,
• IVT Weiner + Reimann GmbH made donations to the "It's for Kids" Foundation and SCHAKA - a self-help group for children after a stroke,
• GWI GmbH also in 2019 continued its activities to support the construction of schools and care homes for disabled children in Kenya,
• The ERBUD Foundation's beneficiaries took part in the Legia Foundation's charity campaign, Everyone to the Rowers 2019,

• We have started a series of meetings and training for students of the Secondary School Complex No. 20 in Łódź.
• We have started cooperation with the Construction School Complex in Wrocław.
• We organized the 2nd Charity Ball of the ERBUD Foundation - WSPÓLNE WYZWANIA named after Eryk Grzeszczak, which is the main way to obtain financial resources for the Foundation's activities.
• Representatives of PDBI took part in the 14th Polish Road Championships in Alpine Skiing and Snowboarding. Wojtek Malusi.
• PBDI was the sponsor of the men's basketball team in the 40+ category participating in the Maribor European Championship Maxibasketball. The team included Marcin Górny (an employee of the company).
• GWI teams took part in the METRO Marathon in Düsseldorf.
• Employees and the president of GWI, Axel Wahl, became involved in the construction of a care home for disabled children in Kenya.
• We continued the cooperation with the Technical School of Construction and Architecture in Warsaw, which started in 2016.

We sponsored:

• 25th anniversary of the Polish Association of Construction Employers,
• the annual “Dinner with the Stars” event,
• annual AHK Operetta and Opera Gala in Warsaw,
• “Concert of Hope” in Wrocław (organized by the Foundation for the Rescue of Children with Cancer),

• the KS GetWell Toruń speedway team in the 2017 season (PBDI S.A.),

• Krzysztof M. Bednarski's Gravity exhibition in Wrocław. The event was part of a series of events related to Wrocław's title of European Capital of Culture 2016 and the opening of the Museum of Contemporary Art, a branch of the National Museum in Wrocław.

• the annual “Dinner with the Stars” event,
• annual AHK Operetta and Opera Gala in Warsaw,
• 2nd Children's and Sports Day in the Ujazd commune,

We participated in:

• "2 Hours for the Family" campaign, organized by the Humanites Foundation. As part of the campaign, ERBUD Group employees received two hours of free time intended for family activities.
  
  

In addition, we have started cooperation with the Technical School of Construction and Architecture No. 1. prof. Zdzisław Mączeński in Warsaw. Taking patronage over one of the technical school's classes is an expression of our concern for young people developing professional knowledge, especially in the field of construction.

This year's Concert of Hope took place on April 4 at the Wrocław Music Forum. Erbud, as the General Contractor of the already constructed clinic, was once again one of the sponsors of this event. This year's Concert had a unique character, because during the event the Foundation celebrated its 25th anniversary. The history of the Foundation was presented in beautiful and touching words by Grzegorz Dzik, chairman of the Foundation's social council. The organization was also thanked by the parents of children suffering from cancer under its care. The gala for young patients of the Wrocław pediatric oncology clinic is also special for another reason. This is the only such concert in Poland during which Friends of the Foundation perform on stage. Its unique formula assumes that in the first part, representatives of banks, corporations and companies supporting children with cancer play the role of singers and musicians. The Erbud Group, as in previous years, was represented by Mr. Jan Michalak, who had a beautiful voice.

September 5, 2015 - together with the Foundation for the Rescue of Children with Cancer, we took part in the "Pageant of Hope". There were numerous ERBUD accents during the ceremony.

July 28, 2015 – we established the ERBUD Foundation - COMMON CHALLENGES named after Eryk Grzeszczak.

We sponsored:

• the annual "Dinner with the Stars" event,
• Legia Warszawa swimming section (ERBUD Industry),
• "Concert of Hope" in Wrocław (organized by the Foundation for the Rescue of Children with Cancer),
• the renowned football academy JUVENTUS Soccer Schools (ERBUD Industry).

We supported:

• Primary School No. 14 in Bydgoszcz (employees of the Budlex company were responsible for renovating the historical workshop),
• Children's Home No. 4 in Warsaw (purchase of Christmas gifts from private funds),
• Toruń's top league speedway team. In 2014, the company prepared the asphalt surface at the Motoarena and the speedway track for the Drift Masters Grand Prix (PBDI) competition.

Moreover, Budlex signed a cooperation agreement with the COPERNICUS Cycling Academy.

We sponsored:

• the annual 'Lunch with the Stars' event,
• Unisław Team PBDI - futsal, AZS UMK CONSUS PBDI - the second basketball league, UNIBAX TORUŃ - Polish runner-up in speedway (PBDI sponsorship; PBDI is also a sponsor of Adrian Miedziński, a player of UNIBAX TORUŃ).

Budlex supported:

• TVN Foundation: "You are not alone" - we allocated funds for the purchase of rehabilitation equipment for children suffering from cerebral palsy.
• Great Rowing competition for the Brda Cup, which had been held in Bydgoszcz for over 20 years,
• the Fenix Foundation,
• female team of Budlex Club Budowlani Toruń volleyball players,
• Silent Music Festival, Andrzej Zaucha Memorial Festival of "Heart Beating",
• Orphanage no. 4 in Warsaw - the employees participated in the auction of the children's artistic works and supported the institution financially. The money collected during the auction was allocated for winter clothing and gifts from letters written by children to Santa Claus. As part of corporate support, ERBUD co-financed wintering grounds and summer holidays for children from the facility.

In addition, we were a co-organizer of the golf tournament; we founded an award in the plebiscite for the best athlete of Toruń and initiated the competition "Fair play support".

We sponsored:

• KS Unibax Toruń, AZS UMK PBDI, UNISŁAW TEAM PBDI,
• women's volleyball team in Toruń - Budlexane Budlex Toruń.

We supported:

• Great Rowing competition for the Brda Cup,

• the Fenix Foundation,
• Polish Red Cross during the organisation of a charity concert in Toruń "Give children a heart" (PBDI),
• Orphanage no. 4. in Warsaw (we bought winter clothing for the children, we provided funds for children's winter recreation).
• an initiative of the AIESEC Association of the University of Technology and Life Sciences of Jan and Jędrzej Śniadecki in Bydgoszcz, funding the award for one of the winners of the competition for the Athlete of Toruń.

We also acted as a friend of the Delecta Bydgoszcz volleyball team.

We co-organised:

• education and recruitment of potential bone marrow donors (in cooperation with the Foundation Against Leukemia; a total of 124 employees registered),
• the "Safe Road to School" campaign in Łubianka.

In addition, Budlex helped to fulfill the dream of a boy from Orphanage no. 3 from Toruń, which was the trip to Mont Blanc. As part of volunteering, the employees of the Company also assisted in the renovation of the classroom in the 8th Secondary School and the Medical School Complex in Bydgoszcz.

• we participated in the Euro 2012 Social Support Committee Gdańsk program, financially supporting the construction of a football field at the 9th High School in Gdańsk as part of the "Junior Euro Cup 2012 Gdańsk" program,
• we sponsored KST Unibax (PBDI),
• we organized the "Safe way to school" campaign,
• we supported the Polish Red Cross in organising a charity concert in Toruń "Give children a heart", 
• we were the title sponsor of the female volleyball team in Toruń - Budlexane Budlex Toruń,
• we supported Orphanage no. 4 in Warsaw, organising a collection of clothing for the children from the institution. We also provided funds for children's summer and winter holidays.

• we participated in the Euro 2012 Social Support Committee Gdańsk program, financially supporting the construction of a football field at the 9th High School in Gdańsk as part of the ""Junior Euro Cup 2012 Gdańsk"" program,
• Budlex renovated the changing rooms for toddlers from kindergarten included in the School Complex no. 5 in Toruń,
• we supported Orphanage no. 4 in Warsaw."
