WIND FARMS
Wind farms, wind parks or wind farms form wind farms and their accompanying infrastructure.
How does it work?
Power plants generate electricity using generators, i.e. wind turbines powered by wind energy. This energy that is considered ecologically clean does not involve burning any fuel.
In 2018, wind farms supplied 1270 TWh to mankind, or 4.8% of the global demand for electricity.
