OH&S policy

FIRST - SAFETY
The health and safety policy is a key element of our strategy.

We want to guarantee the full safety of all people present during the implementation of the investment. This is the basis for us. The aim of such a policy is to reduce the number of serious and fatal accidents to zero.

We implement our security policy through seven key points:

  1. Work safety planning.
  2. “No” to compromising on safety.
  3. Realizing that construction investments without accidents are possible.
  4. Developing a safety culture among contractors.
  5. Promoting leadership attitudes in occupational health and safety, regardless of position.
  6. Improving technical and organizational solutions.
  7. The same safety standards everywhere.

Wymagania dla podwykonawców

The safety of subcontractors is our priority. Already at the stage of creating the offer, we inform them about our requirements and applicable standards.

Implementation of security policy

How do we verify subcontractors?

  1. OFFERING: we provide health and safety conditions and prepare an analysis of the work, along with their schedule.
  2. NEGOTIATIONS AND AGREEMENT: we talk about employee qualifications, technology, social facilities, etc.
  3. PREPARATION FOR IMPLEMENTATION: we develop a BIOZ plan, prepare IBWIR and ORZ, verify medical examinations and qualifications, and conduct information training.
  4. IMPLEMENTATION: we update documentation on an ongoing basis, respond to accident reports, organize coordination meetings, etc.
Nagrody i wyróżnienia

Our safety standards have been appreciated by specialists and independent institutions.

The "Build Safely" competition organized by the National Labor Inspectorate is very important to us. Its aim is to select companies that contribute particularly to improving work safety in construction.

Prizes in investor competitions are also particularly important for our Group. In 2016, we were awarded the "Safe contractor EDF Toruń" award. This is one of many awards given to our employees for their approach to safety at EDF investments. In 2016, ERBUD International Sp. z o. o. was twice recognized as the "best subcontractor of the month" in the expansion area of the Total Refinery in Antwerp. Two of our employees were awarded by name for their special attention to safety.

Porozumienie dla Bezpieczeństwa w Budownictwie

Since 2015, we have been actively involved in the Agreement for Safety in Construction.

This is an initiative of thirteen leading companies in the construction industry. Our association strives to completely eliminate occupational accidents.

We develop common health and safety solutions and standards. They apply to employees and subcontractors. The agreement gives us the opportunity to exchange experiences in the field of security.

A similar role is played by the "small agreement" at the District Labor Inspectorate in Bydgoszcz, aimed at cooperation between companies from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.

Through participation in this body, we would like to promote appropriate practices on construction sites in the region (and beyond).
