OH&S policy

SAFETY FIRST
Health and safety policy is a key element of our strategy.

The occupational health and safety policy is one of the key points of the ERBUD Group strategy.

We want to guarantee the full safety of everyone present during the implementation of the investment. This is the basis for us. The purpose of such a policy is to reduce the number of serious and fatal accidents to zero.

We implement the safety policy through seven key points:

  1. Work safety planning.
  2. “No” to compromises on safety.
  3. Being aware that construction investments without accidents are possible.
  4. Developing a safety culture among contractors.
  5. Promoting leadership attitudes in occupational health and safety, regardless of position.
  6. Improving technical and organisational solutions.
  7. Equal safety standards everywhere.

Implementation of the safety policy

How do we verify subcontractors?

  1. OFFER: we provide the occupational health and safety conditions and prepare work analysis, along with their schedule.

  2. NEGOTIATIONS AND AGREEMENT: we talk about employee qualifications, technology, social facilities, etc.

  3. PREPARATION FOR IMPLEMENTATION: we develop a the safety and health plan, prepare SWPM and ORA, as well as verify medical examinations and licenses; we conduct information training.

  4. IMPLEMENTATION: we update documentation on a regular basis, respond to accident reports, organise coordination meetings, etc.

Awards and distinctions

Our safety standards have been appreciated by specialists and independent institutions.

The 'Construct Safely' competition organised by the National Labour Inspectorate is very important to us. Its purpose is to select companies that particularly contribute to improving work safety in construction.

The Agreement for Safety in Construction

We have been active in the Agreement for Safety in Construction since 2015.

It is an initiative of thirteen leading companies in the construction industry. Our association strives to completely eliminate professional accidents.

We develop common OHS solutions and standards, which apply to employees and subcontractors. The agreement gives us the opportunity to exchange experiences in terms of safety.

A similar role is played by a "small agreement" at the District Labour Inspectorate in Bydgoszcz, focused on cooperation between companies from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship.

We want to promote proper practices at construction sites in the region (and not only) by participating in this body. "
