ERBUD, one of the five largest construction groups in Poland, on 19 September 2016 commenced cooperation with Technikum Budownictwa i Architektury nr 1 im. prof. Zdzisława Mączeńskiego w Warszawie [the Zdzisław Mączeński Secondary Technical School of Building and Architecture No. 1] by taking patronage of class II A.
The aim of the patronage is to provide the highest possible quality of vocational training and to enable students in the class taken under the patronage to deepen their interest in issues related to the construction industry. Within the framework of cooperation the School undertook to, among others, help in organising workshops, field trips and internships and to make available workshops and teaching rooms in which classes will be held. As the patron Erbud will provide the students with a possibility to learn in practice about the work at a construction site, substantive support in teaching the vocational subjects and refurbishment of a teaching room. The students taken under the patronage will also have an opportunity to receive vocational training at construction sites carried out by ERBUD, and in the future they will get a chance to become the company’s employees. Additionally, each student in the class obtained training materials in the form of a so-called ‘Construction Worker’s Pack’ [‘Pakiet Budowlańca’].
- We decided to take the patronage of the Technikum Budownictwa i Architektury because we would like to help future construction workers in gaining experience and learning practical skills which are necessary for work in this industry. It is gratifying that our experts will be able to share their experience and knowledge with young people who soon will be developing the construction industry.
