ERBUD S.A. will extend and modernise a hospital in Kraków

ERBUD entered with the Ludwik Rydygier Specialist Hospital in Krakow into a design & build contract for carrying out of two tasks. The aggregate value of the contract is PLN 30 million.

The first task under the contract with the Kraków Hospital is to build a new seat of the Malopolska Centre of Burns Treatment and Rehabilitation, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Intensive Care Unit for Children. To complete this task ERBUD S.A.  has 15 months from the date of conclusion of the contract - the deadline falls in February 2019.

The second part of the contract covers the refurbishment of hospital facilities for the purpose of Małopolska Centre of Maternity and Woman’s Medicine. ERBUD undertook to perform this task within      7 months after signing the contract, i.e. by June 2018.

This is another collaboration of ERBUD S.A. and the Ludwik Rydygier Specialist Hospital in Kraków. In 2012, our Company carried out a contract for the conversion of hospital facilities at the Department of Neurological Rehabilitation.

The latest contract is the next project performed by Erbud S.A. in the hospital construction sector in   Poland. The Company specializes in the building, alteration and refurbishment of hospitals and medical facilities.

Other’s worth mentioning contracts that are currently carried for this sector, are the construction of the South Hospital in Warsaw, as well as the construction and alteration of the Hospital in Dębica. In the past, ERBUD built or rebuilt, among others, Invasive Medicine Centre of the Medical University of Gdańsk, Stanisław Leszczyński Hospital in Katowice, "Przylądek Nadziei” Hospital in Wrocław or the Gliwice Oncology Clinic.
